Camera Phones, When Will The Megapixels STOP???

I thought that 3.2 megapixel was the new standard of camera phones since more and more are coming out. I love the new Sony Ericsson K790/k800 Cybershot camera phone because of its looks and features but who knew that a 5 megapixel camera phone was right around the corner?

Although Mega pixel only means the actual size of the picture other phones might have better picture quality. From past experience Sony Ericsson has one of the best picture quality, but LG will take the spotlight as soon as this phones price drops to something more reasonable!!

IMATE Releases the HTC TyTN and MTeoR!!!

IMATE is releasing the new HTC TyTN and MTeoR. Although I like the name TyTN and MTeoR, Imate has to raname it something weird (JASJAR?? What were u Thinkin??). Anyways the new Phones will be called the IMATE JASJAM (TyTN) and IMATE SPJAS (MTeoR). Dont get me wrong I do no hate all the IMATE names, like the name IMATE JAM and IMATE JAMin but maybe I am missing somthing? does JAS mean something??

The all new HTC Artemis is an awesome Pocket PC and I have no idea how "Bengal Boy" gets his hands on all these new devices but he has done it again....

What does this mean for the future of Windows Mobile???? Will all the new Windows Mobiles have a built in Mouse?

I Hope and I WISH that the new HTC Universal will have a mouse!!!! We will have to wait and see though!!!!

Bluetooth Car Stereos with built in A2DP Profile!!!

In the past we have seen car decks coming out with built in Bluetooth technology for making and receiving calls. Now what is the next step???

Obviously the next step would be in streaming live music to your car stereo with your cell phone…. But when??

Sony has already announced their car stereo with built in A2DP profile for streaming music but no idea when it will be released, hopefully very soon. You can also save contacts to the car deck to make calls and the call info is displayed on the stereo’s screen. The deck also has a built in mic.

Other manufacturers are also making similar devices but nothing solid has been released yet.

HTC Excalibur Coming Soon!! Battle of the QWERTY's Begin!!

The Newest edition to HTC's line up is the HTC Excalibur. The Excalibur is a new Windows Smartphone that looks like a blackberry and the motorola Q but is a lot more advanced. Compared to a blackberry it is only similar to the looks. Comparing the Excalibur to the motorola Q, it looks alike and has the same software but what puts the HTC Excalibur above all of its competition is that it has built in WiFi too!!

There are RUMORS that the phone will be released in September or October but it is not verified. What is verified is that the one of the companies that will be branding it is....o2 and it will be call the o2 XDA Cosmo!!

In my opinion the Samsung i320 or the Motorola Q will be no competition to the Excalibur because of its built in WiFi!!

What is HTC and how come I have never heard of them until NOW??

HTC is a company originated from Taiwan and stands for "High Tech Computers" Corporation. HTC has been making phones for quite some time now, and their focus is on the Windows Mobile Operating System. HTC makes 80% of the current windows mobile smartphones and pocketpc's currently on the market.

The reason no one has heard of HTC is because they have been supplying wireless carriers and other companies and branding the phones under different names. For example the HTC Wizard is branded and called T-Mobile MDA, Cingular 8125, Imate K-Jam, Qtek 9100, Dopod 838 etc. All these companies either pretend they are the ones making them or just done give enough credit to HTC.

HTC has just started branding their phones under their own name and logo!!

I would personally like to congratulate YOU... HTC... no more giving other people credit for your work!! keep it up!!
